Before your Laser
1. Free From Visible Hair
Ensure that the area is free from any visible hair on the day of treatment by either shaving or using cream (especially in more intimate areas).
2. Avoid Sun Exposure
Stay out of the sun and skip tanning beds for at least 48 hours before your treatment.
3. Skip the Lotions and Deodorant
Keep the treatment area clean and free from moisturisers, oils, or deodorant.
4. Stay Away from Active Skincare Ingredients
Avoid using retinoids, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid on the treatment area for a few days before your session.
5. Wear Loose, Comfortable Clothing
Loose-fitting clothes will prevent friction or irritation on freshly treated skin.
After your Laser
1. Soothe the the Skin
A cooling gel or aloe vera will calm the skin and reduce any redness or irritation.
2. Avoid Heat and Sweating
Skip hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for at least 24–48 hours.
3. Stay Out of the Sun
Protect the treated area from sun exposure for a few days and use sun factor.
4. No Scrubbing or Exfoliating
Avoid exfoliating the area for at least a week. Allow hair to shed on its own.
5. Skip Harsh Products
Avoid using retinoids, acids, or fragranced lotions on the treated area for a few days to avoid irritation.
